Dr. Umang Khetarpal finished his medical school at the young age of 22 and is double board-certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck - Facial Plastic Surgery and Sleep Medicine. He completed his internship and specialty residency training in Syracuse, New York. He also has extensive research experience and additional clinical experience through fellowships at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School in Boston.
He understands that many patients come to see him with chronic or urgent conditions. It is his policy to make every attempt to see new patients within 1 week.
Ear Wax Cleaning Patients: Please note that our office charges $150 for ear wax cleaning due to the majority of insurance companies not covering this service at the time of the specialist office visit. While we will bill the insurance company and issue a refund to patients if paid, we do not see patients who ONLY come in for earwax cleaning. We do recommend patients who need this done to go to their primary care physician and then return to us if further ear pain, pressure, ringing, or dizziness persists. Please don't hesitate to ask our staff if you have any questions.
We recommend that if you are coming in for a plugged-up sensation and also have earwax, to use Debrox® Earwax Removal Aid for 2 weeks to soften the wax prior to coming in.
